Rethinking the Economy, Renewing Tucson

Tuesday November 17

6-7 pm

As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we look ahead to the next 20 years.  Renew Tucson is our latest initiative:  to enhance our region’s livability through more productive use of energy, water, and materials.  We can achieve this productivity by changing how we approach investment.  Smart investment – in people, in infrastructure, in energy – will provide opportunities for the whole community rather than a cost burden.

Renew Tucson is bringing people together to advance regenerative approaches and policies that strengthen Tucson’s social, ecological, and economic well-being.  As we prepare for the Renew Tucson Summit next year, join us at our November 17 webinar, sampling ideas old and new.

Panel will include Julie Dittmer, a Tucson-based independent law and policy researcher with a B.A. in Law from the University of Arizona.  Her work explores the intersection of energy, the environment, and public health, with an emphasis on local governance and infrastructure policy.

Moderated by Ellie Hammond, GIS analyst and ST board member.
