Like so many, we in Sustainable Tucson have been considering how to respond to the current attacks on our environmental health, national parks, and progress on climate change and eco-justice.
Therefore, we are hosting an in-person Call to Action on March 29th to connect Tucson environmental groups and concerned citizens. We will assess current local threats, identify how groups are reacting, and discuss actions we can do together.
Here are our goals for the afternoon:
1. Generate a menu of actions that individuals and groups can commit to;
2. Form one or more teams to take on specific projects;
3. Begin planning a Spring Teach-in to engage more citizens in protecting
programs, people, and places.
